How we keep AI under human control

When I tell people our AI can act on their behalf, the first reaction is usually a raised eyebrow. And honestly, they are right to be cautious about giving AI the keys to their business. An assistant that quietly sends the wrong email, approves the wrong invoice, or acts on a bad assumption is not a time-saver. It is a liability. So from the start we built Ordelume around a simple rule: AI can help you act, but a human decides what is right.

That is not a slogan. It is a set of controls baked into the product. Here is how it actually works.

You choose how far the AI can go

Every AI workflow runs at an autonomy level that you set. It can range from simply suggesting, to drafting for your review, to acting only after an explicit approval. Nothing jumps a level on its own.

LevelWhat the AI doesWhat happens next
RecommendSurfaces risks, gaps, and next actionsYou decide everything
DraftPrepares the message, task, or replyYou review and send
ApproveProposes a specific actionIt runs only after you approve
ExecuteCarries out a defined, bounded taskWithin your caps, fully logged
AI helps you act smarter. People decide what is right.

Guardrails, not blind trust

Even when you allow the AI to act, it acts inside limits. Outreach and replies are capped and human-paced, and never sent blind. Sensitive decisions, the ones that touch people, money, clients, or reputation, stay with a person by design. Access is role-based, so the AI only ever works with what a given person is allowed to see.

Every action, one safe path
AI proposes Your guardrails Action, within limits Logged & reversible
No action skips the guardrails you set, and every one lands in the audit trail.

Everything is auditable and reversible

When AI is involved, you should be able to see exactly what happened and why. In Ordelume, every AI action is logged with its context and evidence, tied to the person and workflow it belongs to, and reversible if it was not what you wanted. Trust is not something we ask for. It is something the audit trail earns.

The goal is not AI that is impressive in a demo and frightening in production. It is AI you can actually turn on, because you stay in control of every step, and you can always see and undo what it did.

AI you can actually trust to turn on.

Ordelume is in private beta and free while it lasts.
